I go in the order I received the orders as much as I can. However each customer sends me the data I need at different speeds.

I work in an “assembly line” fashion, cutting all the fabric at once, sewing the applique’ at the same time, serging the edges at the same time, etc.  So if we are in the middle of an email conversation it is easy for your order to fall back in that assembly line.  Once I have the completed order for the customers, I am able to add the order in the “assembly line”.

So please do not get upset that the items are shipping our of order. If you have a question or concern please email me. I will be more than happy to assist you with any concerns that may arise.

Here are some of the custom prefolds. There are many piles around the workroom of all the prefolds in various stages of completion. Imagine 50 doublers/soakers, cut and serged (6 per order and there are 12 orders), 39 prefolds (front and back panels so double that number), 36 different appliques tucked neatly in their envelopes labeled and ready to be adhered. In the midst of it stands my little serger and trusty sewing machine.

My goal is to have some of these out tomorrow. And the rest by Saturday. But I have been getting myself in trouble with these predictions. So if I can’t move fast enough, please charge it to my head and not to my heart.

If this makes little to no sense, please forgive me it is 2am!! I will edit it in the morning. Off to bed!!! Whooo-hooo!!

I am plugging away! My machine is whirring! Lint is flying!

The first few orders should ship tomorrow!

That being said there are quite a few of you who I haven’t heard back from and I need to hear from you to go to the next step. So if I haven’t heard back your order is kind of “frozen”. So to keep production moving I continued to work on the other orders while waiting to hear from you so shipping will not proceed exactly in numerical order. I am shipping them in the order of completion and if I am waiting for an email from you, out of necessity I moved to the next person.

Does that make any sense??

I will try to get pics of some of the completed orders tonight but I can’t promise.

Ok. So I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped but I did finish a lot!

1. All of the velour is cut! (Except if I just receive your measurments but that will be done soon.)

2. All of the soakers/doublers whatever you want to call them are cut and sewn!

3. All of the applique designs are cut! (If I haven’t sent your picture for approval it should be sent today or tomorrow!

4. 1/3 of the applique desings are adhered! (The rest will hopefully be finished tonight.)

5. My husband has finally moved the shelf for organized storage of each custom, though he has left a mess in his wake…lol
