Tee Order is Finally Complete

…I have received the last of the information for customers and was finally able to place the tee shirt order. It is sched. to arrive Friday. Placing these orders still gives me heart palpitations. I think the customer service reps know my voice.

Order #1129 - I still need the tee shirt size, and image for the design.

My goal is to have all custom orders finished and shipped by Feb. 14th.

I will be taking off the 15th-17th. The turn around time is still 4 weeks. If your custom design is very complicated it may take longer because I do not want to rush the design.

My mother might be coming to assist either the 2nd or the 10th. Dh and my father are going to the Philly car show.

Gabrielle’s hands are healing nicely. I will try to take pics soon but her hands move faster than Bruce Lee’s in “Fist of Fury”.

This is my gorgeous baby after we woke up from our nap on Saturday. I have taken about 4 naps since she was born. Most un-planned. This was one of them…lol. I woke up three hours later and she was playing quietly beside me. What a wonderful baby, I am truly blessed.

An explaination of in stock items…

This weekend I made items to sell as in stock for this stocking. From now on I will be working on custom items Monday through Friday. On the weekends I will be creating in stock items. My goal is to have ALL custom orders (except one whom  I have spoken with which is sched. for Feb. 20-23?) finished before February 14th.

The turn around time now is 3-4 weeks. I will not offer any more custom items for quite sometime.

Thursday and Friday

Thursday I have to hob knob with my Dh’s clients for work. I will be unavailable after 2pm until approximately 8pm. I will check all emails after that time. I will have to have intellectual conversations with adults…lol.

Friday Gabrielle has her follow-up appointment for her surgery. I will be unavailable from 12pm to approximately 4pm. I will check all emails after that time.

Final Decisions

1. I no longer do custom items at this time. I will work on the custom orders I presently have and complete them. I will re-evaluate in the future and decide if that is an aspect of my business that I will choose to continue.

2. I will create in stock items on the weekend. I will no longer answer emails after 9pm, or on the weekend. I need to set boundaries for myself and my family.  All emails received Monday through Friday will be answered within 24 hours.

3. I will stock this Monday at noon. I am not sure if I will return to stocking Thursdays at noon. I will update at a later time.

4. There will be policy changes.

Contemplation…

I am considering doing away with custom slots and going to 100% in stock items.

Also, the stocking date has changed to Monday at noon.

The turn around time is still 4 weeks despite my best efforts to whittle it down. If you have any concerns, as always, please email me. I am happy to accommodate you.

Orders from 12/20…

The orders without tees from the week of 12/20 will ship tomorrow unless you have received and email from me. Which I am about to send now.

ALL orders with tees from 2007, all of your longies are completed and waiting for their tee. They will ship on or before Friday. If you need a rush delivery so that the item will arrive before a certain day, please let me know ASAP.

Behind In Email

My parents came in town early this morning. Earlier than I had thought, and Gabrielle had a minor surgery done today to remove two extra digits on her hands. She now can only count to ten, instead of 12. This should lessen the confusion for her two year old cousin….lol

You can see one of the extra fingers in this picture of her in her first cloth diaper. When she was still enough for me to pin twice! :)

She was very brave and watched them perform the procedure and just cried a little during the whole thing. I also held up pretty well. Yay mom! Her hands are swaddled in wrap to protect the stiches she looks like a mini boxer. :) I will get more photos when she awakes and get to the emails ASAP.

Discount Code for Those Caught in the Delay…

…please email me for the discount code for the wholesaler delay. Please put your order number in the subject line so that I will be able to answer quickly and efficiently. Please do not share the discount codes with friends.

If your order number is between Order #1043 and Order #1075. You are entitled to a 10% discount on a future purchase for the delay since I had initially stated that I would be able to get the orders out prior to Christmas day.

If you volunteered for a delay I will allow the 10% discount code to be used twice on separate orders.

Orders between #’s 1076 and 1089 are entitled to a 5% discount on their next order for the 1 week delay past the 2-3 week shipping timed delay.

All of the order #’s after that date fall within the turnaround time advertised at the date of purchase. Each customer was informed of the increased turnaround time in either the blog, or on the store header.
