Wider Is Better!
I have been trying to perfect my prefold experience. I love prefolds and I am over the moon with Bamboo velour prefolds. The ultimate weapon in my diaper stash is my extra wide Plush prefolds. Both of the prefolds in the slide shows have been used MANY MANY times in the last few months. They are what I reach for first. Unhappy with the containment power of the other folds. I decided to combine two of my favorites to make the best fold I have ever used!
What makes it better?
1. The thickness of the 3 layers allows the side walls created by the roll to contain more without the use of elastic! The lack of elastic prevents red marks etc. The roll creates a plush protective barrier in seconds! The lack of elastic, means that the diaper will last without the need for repair!
2. The print surround the outer shell of the prefold giving you the pleasing prints found on fitteds without uncomfortable elastic found in fitteds.
3. The use of bamboo creates a plush and absorbent prefold! For a diapering experience unlike any other.
Shots of the prefold in action! At the end of the slideshow the prefold is shown under a pair of reversible longies. The action shots also show how the high wasitband can be folded down instead of left high over the ribs.
Thanks so much for the slideshow! I always use the bikini fold with my regular (superlong) prefolds but the bamboo one I got from you was too cute to do that. I’ll try folding it in the jellyroll style next time.
PS. Love the bamboo. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular cotton. It dries faster even though it’s more absorbant. Thank you!
